“An NIL Initiative for the SIUE Women’s Basketball program will prove to be extremely rewarding. With the climate of women’s sports, particularly women’s basketball, commitment to this initiative will help enhance the experience of the women’s basketball student-athlete by providing them with a multitude of different benefits while also raising the bar for women’s sports in our area. Our women will not only feel their individual value but also understand that the support of Women’s Sports is all around them. It is only a matter of time before the Caitlin Clark effect hits the immediate St. Louis area. SIUE will be a trailblazer in this ambitious enterprise.
